Bella Rosa is thrilled to introduce you to the newest addition to our fabulous closet, Nonoo. This New York based line, designed by Misha Nonoo, has offered fashionable women’s clothing since its inception in Spring/Summer 2010.
Nonoo’s initial designs focused primarily on jackets and coats with keen attention to impeccably crafted fashion using classic techniques and superior fabrics. Anywhere from eight to twenty-five tailored pieces were offered in a given season.
Embarking on her fifth season with Fall/Winter 2011, Nonoo begins a new chapter and expands the label with its first full ready-to-wear collection. This Fall we see feminine blouses, tailored trousers and dresses all created from the finest European fabrics: noble French laces, silks, cashmere and wool.
Misha Nonoo continuously draws from her home county of England, namely its heritage and aristocracy during the design process. Raised in Bahrain and then London, childhood memories of visits to both the Arabian souks as well as the cutting edge street looks of cool Britannia inspire her collections. The result is effortless elegance and flawless craftsmanship. Nonoo’s time spent working for fashion houses in Paris simply furthered her vision.

We all know it’s hot outside, but September is the month to get the best Fall pieces of the Season.
It may be hard to consider buying boots, jackets, furs and cashmere when you are roasting in your tees and shorts, but if you want the best pieces you need to act NOW. By late October, early Fall pieces are history and heavier sweaters, warm jackets and holiday wear start to arrive. By the end of November, we are already thinking and seeing Resort apparel. As the head buyer for Bella Rosa, I am already placing orders for Spring 2012 if you can believe it!

Our Alberto Fermani riding boots are flying off the shelves, and we just received an amazing shipment of Camilla Skovgaard booties that look fabulous with dresses, leggings, jeans and a tee, blouse, or fabulous jacket. This season, denim and trousers are back in a big way; with a great top and jacket or fur vest, you can easily dress for day into night. This trend is perfect for our California lifestyle because we can be casual and stylish or a sexy sophisticate just by changing a few pieces.
